A great camera for BlueIris – Amcrest generally makes a soiled camera and I’ve used a few generations. This one so far is the best. I use BlueIris with DeepStack AI so I turned off the camera AI to get 30fps at 4k. I use a full HD sub stream for motion detection and then record the 4k main stream. The streams seem to be in sync except for immediately after the camera restarts. Night vision doesn’t have the best range, but is plenty clear for recognition. Audio is good for a camera in this price range. The physical packaging is excellent. If I had one gripe it would be that the mounting holes don’t fit any standard US electrical junction boxes.

Good POE camera but Amcrest needs to improve their software – Packaging – At first glance, looks very polished and professional. The graphics on the box itself make it standout, good color scheme. Once you get past the security tape (this is a must to have a secure tape so you have confidence the item was not used or handled), you immediately can tell the camera was packaged in a way to avoid damage during transit. There was foam padding on the top and bottom with cardboard re-enforcement, very well designed.
