Did not fit Canon R3 – I loved the entire feel and composition of the pack. I learned all the changes, moving from back to table top, and loved it. However, does not fit the body of a Canon R3 body. Had all my lenses and flashes laid out with my camera, and tried to zip it up — no go. The height of the body is too large. Loved it, but cannot zip up the bag.

Unique concept, great sling bag, uncomfortable backpack – The concept is very useful and unique. I don’t think there are any other bags like this that allows a quick switch to a table top and provides access to all gear without resting it on the floor. Great design, very useful and usable. Looks good too. Good waterproof materials. As a sling bag – this is awesome. But carrying heavy gear is not easy with this bag. The sling bag gets uncomfortable as it is resting on one shoulder only with heavy gear on a hike. But that’s when you convert it to a backpack, right? Yes – but the backpack is very basic and uncomfortable. The straps don’t have proper padding, and the edges of the straps are hard material. The straps are pretty wide, which makes those hard edges uncomfortable. Also, no chest or waist strap to distribute the weight. Apparently, those backpack-specific features are not possible with the tabletop design. But the fact remains that it is not as usable as a backpack unless the load is light. And if the load is light, you might very well use it as a sling bag to keep the tabletop feature easily accessible. So overall, great sling bag – not so much as a good backpack for carrying relatively heavier gear.

Very uncomfortable and too narrow – The promo video looked great. But it’s so darn uncomfortable to use it as a tabletop to quickly Change lenses. It sits too high, almost unusable. U can extend the strap to make it sit lower but when you swing it back, it says right on my bum instead of my back. Not good! And the compartments are too small, and everything fits so tightly! It was worth a try. Now returning it unfortunately.

Exactly what I needed! – The Top Shelf Camera Bag is exactly what I was looking for! I’ve been searching for an all-in-one swiss army knife camera bag for a while now, and so far this bag from BEVIS Gear has not disappointed. The sling mode is looking like it’ll be perfect for fast-action shots, the dividers have been just right so far given the overall internal space, and table-top-mode is working well as a substitute for a tripod, as well as a perfect worktop for adjusting my gear. I haven’t had much time with it yet, but so far, so good – can’t wait for more!

U can extend the strap to make it sit lower but when you swing it back, it says right on my bum instead of my back. Not good! And the compartments are too small, and everything fits so tightly! It was worth a try. Now returning it unfortunately.
