Great camera and spotlight – For what you would pay for a good floodlight, you get a floodlight and camera plus the blink 2 module. What is great about the blink 2 is you can use a flash drive to store all your videos and not have to buy a subscription. The floodlight works great and really makes the video very clear 100 times better than night vision. Blink cameras are excellent and now with the option to use all the features without a subscription makes it a wonderful purchase.

Garbage Software (Original Post), Updated Post: Amazon Blink Customer Support Team Excellent – The software is a piece of garbage. The camera ran out of battery. Changed both batteries on the camera and flood lights. Camera connected back, to the app, but the flood lights will not. Plugged the USB back, nothing. Deleted the camera, reinstalled, connected the usb to the camera. Camera works, flood lights not recognized, a big fat nothing. Now have a useless piece of junk.

Great if you use the Blink system – This is basically their outdoor cam attached to lights operated by batteries. Unsure how long the batteries on the light last yet but so far everything worked smoothly. Install was extremely simple and no drilling required if you are installing on vinyl. Comes with everything you need! Since i already have an existing Blink system, i didnt need to even use the Blink module that it came with. All you have to do is go on your Blink app and add the new camera.

Has its pluses and minuses – All in all, a good product, but the implementation (firmware) needs work. Because my light/camera is mounted outside, the Wi-Fi signal to the camera was weak so I had to buy a (Lynksys) range extender. That took care of that problem. The daylight flood lamp portion of the firmware doesn’t work properly—the lights will never come on when motion triggered during the day. Also, the recording misses the first 3-4 seconds of the action that triggered it. All in all though the recorded video is clear, the floodlight is bright enough (although I have mine set to 10) and the sensitivity (range) is decent. Over time, without changing any settings, the camera seems to be properly less sensitive to moving shadows as if it’s learning. I’m pleased with my purchase and would buy one again.

Installed it using the siding attachment. could not use the mounting kit that came with it could not get it to snap in. Still working on the kinks on the app, The night vision is great, the recordings are great.

Blink flood lights camera are good – I have placed the blink camera as my security system. The vision of camera is good. The building of the camera is good. The camera design in such way I don’t need to drill at all and I am able to put them in siding of the exterior oart of my home. The flood lights camera records the color vision and capture the each motion. The only thin My one of the camera flood lights sometimes it on at motion and sometimes not so not sure what’s make it work and what’s not make it work. I believe recording in real time is little better other than even completely recording and receiving notifications but overall I am satisfied with purchase

Impressed – I have installed this so easily but I noticed that it could need to be screwed in for more security. But wow! I am impressed I thibk if I had to do it all over again I buy this in a heartbeat maybe get two or three. The light is perfect for my little 968sq home. The light it puts out is great. There are a few glitches I have notice because nothing perfect like sometimes the motion sensor turns on the camera but no lights come on leaving the picture completely dark. Where as the majority of the time it lights up brightly and in color if you want it too.
