Really easy install – I installed these a little while ago. They where real easy to assemble and connect to the hub. Connecting with Alexa was a breeze. My only problem with these cameras, they react to motion slow. Kinda wish it would constantly record then edit like 10 seconds before motion detected and than go from there. But other than that. They work as they should and the range for the sync module is actually pretty good, better than I thought.

Easy to install – Easy to install, just like every other Blink device. Make sure your Wifi signal reaches outdoors consistently, even without the garage door open (if you’re putting this near your garage).

Good 2nd Camera – Putting the camera up was fairly simple. Where we ran into trouble was not finding QR code. After calling Blink customer service, I was guided to put serial number in for registration, it was UNDER the battery compartment. Once that was found, sync was very simple and camera immediately came on and is working. Great view of entire front yard and driveway. It even picked up the movement of a cat walking down the sidewalk!!

Not just this new camera, but if you were there, new items I’m not too fond of – I have many cameras more than I probably should probably have everything they were sold. I don’t like the new feature they have to remove the back that you need this device or a nickel to turn it to open it it’s just very inconvenient. I don’t like how you have to change the batteries way more often than they say I mean unless you’re in an area where there’s absolutely no motion you may let them last year otherwise I’ve had cameras that there’s not much going on and I just hardwire them. It’s ridiculous she go through so many batteries, so be nice if they could find something to remedy that is outdoor camera with the solar panel. You can’t move the solar panel easy enough to get it to you if you direct to the sun, the cameras going the wrong way if you want to hardwire it, do you need like a bent adapter I can’t be straight. Sometimes these cameras gets so frustrating and then they say well you’re not close enough to the module you’re not close enough to the Wi-Fi why did it work the day before, so I really think they need to work on some of these bugs and I truly do recommend Blink I like Blink I want to bought that many cameras if I didn’t but sometimes they get very very frustrating and instead of changing things like using a device to open up the back of the camera have a finding a someway to snap on your camera better than the way you have it I mean, I sit there for quite some trying time trying to twist it and turn it to get it to go in right it’s aggravating good company good customer service, good technical support. I wish they just get some Kingside of these cameras and send the remedies the people that have bought is many cameras as I have.

Work good, best when new – Night vision is fairly decent on the new ones, those I have had awhile basically lost their night vision after a time, not a real long time. At least one of the 2 new ones I purchased does not trigger to record from motion unless it’s in a specific area for some reason. It’s not due to the area being masked off either.

Better than the battery only option. – The camera works great and hopefully I won’t have to climb up a ladder and replace any batteries. Be advised that there is a battery inside the solar unit as well as two AA batteries in the camera. You have to unscrew the battery access panel on back of the solar unit and pull out the tab on the battery terminal or your camera will only run on its internal batteries that will eventually go dead. I think the instructions that came with it kinda sucked. I suggest going to the internet instructions that are more detailed. This camera is great because you can mount it in a hard to get to place because you don’t have to replace batteries.
