It works BUT… – Pros: Very easy to pair for your smart phone. Has an on/off switch that keeps you from wasting battery power when not being used. Pocket sized and easy to keep in your pocket or hand. Inexpensive works with both Apple and Android bluetooth phones. Has a small light that glows blue to let you know power is on. Can be ordered in different colors.

This photo remote works great! I use it with my iPhone 6 Plus – This photo remote works great! I use it with my iPhone 6 Plus. It was really easy and quick to set up and really easy to use after. I really loved the wrist strap that is adjustable so it doesn’t slip off your wrist while you’re running around. I photograph hundreds of items a week and are each staged on a mannequin. It is really convenient to be able to set up my phone on a tripod and put the mannequin where I need it and be able to dress the mannequin, use the button to snap the photo while standing next to the mannequin (just out of range of the picture of course), and then undress, rinse and repeat. It saves quite a bit of time to do it that way rather than running back and forth between the two and inevitably bumping into the tripod one (or 10!) times and having to set it all back up just so again. If you have a little one who hangs around and likes to help you can even let them hold the remote and press the button for you. Warning: You might get a few unflattering pictures of yourself bending over trying to get the next outfit just right though as they can snap it at any moment. Ha! My kiddos really love it. I highly recommend this product.

Remote 5 stars, tripod 3. – The remote works as described. Just remember that one button is for use with iPhones and the smaller one is for use with Android devices. I’ve had it for less than a month and used it just a few times, so I can’t speak to battery life or long-term reliability. But so far so good.

It’s great for taking pictures if you want to be in … – It’s great for taking pictures if you want to be in them. No need to use timer function as now you can take a picture when you are ready.

Meh. – I bought this to use as a programmable Bluetooth remote that I could use to trigger actions on my iPad (mainly, turn Kindle app pages). The remote has two buttons, one of which doesn’t seem to programmable. After connecting it to my iPad, the larger of the two buttons just turns up the volume? It’s annoying. The other button I could program and I got it set up and working – but it doesn’t work about half the time. The iPad will say the switch has been disconnected. It’s still technically functional- I usually just have to click a bunch of times in a row until it works. But it’s irritating enough that I’m going to look for a different remote that’s more reliable. I can’t complain too much considering the price… but it’s just not a consistently reliable product.

Great – but not water proof. Oops. – I bought this before a vacation to help me take selfies of my family without a selfie stick – I just wanted to be able to more comfortably hold my phone and take photos. I ended up using it a lot unexpectedly when I had my phone in a waterproof case because of being at SeaWorld and possible getting wet. It can be hard to press the screen through that case, and this was amazing and even withstood some water on it. Until… an orca splashed gallons of water directly at me. And after that it stopped working.
