Wow, what a camera! – but there are downsides – I traded in my aging Canon D50 SLR, and made the jump to mirrorless with this EOS RP after reading Ken Rockwell’s review on it. I wanted ultra low light capability, shallow depth of field for separating backgrounds, and live view that showed me my exposure in real time.

The perfect balance of beautiful video and beautiful photos – I previously had a Canon T3i and I absolutely loved that thing. It was amazing the results that camera could do for its time and I will always think it’s one of the best budget cameras ever made. However, I’ve recently gotten more into video and that is one thing the T3i wasn’t meeting my needs for. It was missing so many features like autofocus and modern video resolutions and frame rates.

Great camera – Did my research as a hobbyist photographer and found this to be the best full-frame mirrorless camera for the price. There are better, but the prices are greater, even for brands that are normally cheaper. The other brands have the edge on DSLR (for now) and the market is changing to mirrorless fast, but for now, I am happy with what I have. I had a Sony NEX-7 before this and it was great, too.

– Camera is good one thing is the auto focus struggles at times, but it could also be the 50mm RF lens not too Sure. The quality is too good I feel like I might have to pay more attention to my skin, this camera shows all your blemishes. I would say the R is better but the RP is half the price of the R. Furthermore, I got mine for 1009 as a used trade in and saved about 324 dollars. I also don’t have the 24-105 kit lens I just bought the 16mm RF and 50mm RF.

– Vengo de el sistema micro 4/3 Panasonic GX9 preferí el sistema por lo compacto y ligero para cargar con él a donde voy. Siempre había querido un formato Full Frame sin embargo las cámaras Reflex Full Frame son demasiado grandes y pesadas. Hasta ahora decido probar el formato Full Frame con esta EOS RP y vaya sorpresa es más ligero que mi cámara Panasonic GX9, en cuánto a la calidad de imagen es sabido que Canon es muy buena también, Regreso a la marca Canon desde que tuve mi última Canon 40D. Encontrándome también gratas sorpresas en cuanto a actualización del menú de canon, que antes era demasiado básico y aburrido.
