Works great – Easy set up. When it asks you to scan the QR code to set up the camera scan the one on the camera itself. Located on the bottom of the ring camera. Don’t waste your time scanning the one on the instructions like it tells you to

Excellent image in low light / darkness – We recently installed 3 of these at our home: over the garage, replacing a fancy fixture; over the back deck’s door, replacing a 2-lamp non-fancy fixture; at the far end of the house, replacing a fancy fixture. Due to time constraints, I hired an electrician to do the installation. Configuring them into our wifi network and the Ring phone app was easily done. At first, they were alerting on every motion, including blowing leaves. I switched them to only alert on people – well, larger objects like a big dog will do it, too. So far, I’m pleased. The video image in low light or in darkness is really quite good.

REQUIRES subscription to be fully functional – Product itself works perfectly and easy to install and configure. Worth 5 stars EXCEPT I was very disappointed to learn that my current Ring doorbell archival subscription does NOT cover an additional device. I realize the the cloud storage has to be paid for but the cost to add this to my subscription was ridiculous since I only have 2 devices.
