Perfect for our tween – We purchased this camera as a birthday gift for our 12 year old. We don’t allow her to have a cell phone so that limits her casual picture taking abilities. This camera is perfect for her. We took it on a trip to the Great Smokey Mountains and she got some pretty good shots. I recommend for any budding photographer. It was easy to set up and use. It has a lot of features and picture options I haven’t had a chance to play with yet but my 12 year was able to take out of box and used it easily by herself without my assistance. That is how easy to use it is. Battery life is also great!!!

From the second I picked it up something just felt right about this camera. I’m confident you will love this camera for years to come. If you’re a beginner and just looking for the simple things out of a camera then this is one for you. Don’t look anywhere else. The quality of the photos are too good since it is a HD1080P with 48MP. Also, it has 16X digital zoom so you can bring objects much closer. One of the best features is the anti-shake so any kid can operate without failure. Kids and beginners are prone to shake hands so this will eliminate the blurry pictures. This camera supports 32GB SD which is more than enough for kids to shoot hundreds of pictures without emptying it. The menu is well designed and easy to follow for kids. Absolutely, you cannot ask for better menu management. I own a Nikon camera and it has a complicated menu, so I must say this camera has a much better menu interface. The rear screen is 2.4 inch. It has full articulation and the responsiveness of the touch screen is the best.

She loved the color, loved the lanyard that came with it and learned pretty quickly how to work some of the buttons. She still needs to get familiar with it but she will have it down pretty quick I feel like. She has been into photography and needed her own camera to take pictures with since she doesn’t have a phone. It’s good quality for a kid but not over the top, a perfect starter camera for a kid to learn and work their way up to more advanced cameras. Definitely recommend if you want a good beginner camera.
