Osmo Action 3 Review – At first glance, you’d think that this is just another action camera, but after using it personally for the past few weeks I can safely say that the OA3 is a cut above the rest. It has a bigger sensor, wide FOV, great stabilization modes with minimal cropping, plus has a very long battery life. The software is very responsive and easy to use and understand after a couple of minutes. Even the touchscreen on both sides respond quite well and are adequately sized given the overall dimensions of the camera itself. I like the tough build and I’m pretty sure that a couple of drops won’t break this baby apart unlike other products that will get annihilated with a three foot drop. Simply put, I am pretty happy with the Action 3 as I feel that I am getting full value for the money that I have paid for this amazing product.

Especially for beginners. I love this little creature — DJI OSMO Action3 – Perfect for high speed movement. Rocksteady and Horizon Balancing has got your back when it comes to stable footage. Minimal cropping and loss of detail even if you crank out stabilization to the max. The footage captured does not look laggy and it’s still pretty fluid all throughout. Way better than some action cams that I have used in the past. The magnetic mounting system is very good, and I am confident snapping it on my helmet or on my bike handles. I’ve crashed and burned but the Action 3 is still locked and ready to go. It has never shut down prematurely on me and if I pressed record, I am confident that my footage will all be there until the time I press on stop. Hyperlapse modes are also tons of fun when biking. Pretty good choice for an action camera this is, especially for beginners.

Not the Best, But better than GoPro – I’ve owned the Original Osmo Action ever since it was released and it became one of my favorite cameras to use. Like all DJI products, they aren’t perfect out of the box, but with firmware updates, they only get better. I skipped on the OA2 because I didn’t like the modular design, but when this one was announced, I pre-ordered it immediately.

DJI Action 3 Experience – DJI Osmo Action 3 is the complete package. Video quality is excellent and I can’t say enough good things about how sturdy this thing is. I took the Action 3 dirt biking and the footage was as smooth as you would like with Rocksteady 3.0 on. I also took some pretty nasty falls but the Action 3 took it like a champ. I also like that there are voice commands and you can preset settings so you don’t have to swipe and tap so much to get up and running. The case is a very good addition plus you can use it as a power bank if your phone is running low on juice. Super wide FOV and beautiful colors each and every time I get a video out of this action cam. The magnetic mount is also very easy to use. Attach it to the bike frame? 2 seconds. Attach it to my helmet? 2 seconds. No screws to tighten and loosen. Seconds saved are seconds earned.DJI is ready to take the crown with this amazing product that ticks all of my boxes.

It is very user friendly even a kid can create some great content with this. It is very durable it can even withstand drops to concrete because of the tough exterior and the tempered glass screens. You can get amazing footage because of the improved camera. The app for the Action 3 is one of the best around and it can provide you with everything that you need to get to shooting professional level action sequences. I’ve got a 12 year old son that can actually use the Action 3 better than me. He takes it skateboarding and his reels look professionally made especially with a little bit of editing and inserting some transitions and sound effects. He also loves the longer battery life and the fact that you can control it via voice commands. I’m itching to get another one as my kid has pretty much made the Action 3 his own!

With the DJI Osmo Action’s improved waterproofing, I am not limited by a case as I can dive deeper even without it when compared to other brands. Dual hydrophobic touchscreens allow me to utilize the Action 3 even when it or I am soaking wet. Of course, Quick Switch buttons enable me to use the camera with more flexibility even underwater. The colors and details that you can get underwater are exceptional, even with little to no light. I’ve shot fishes, corals, and even a salvaged vessel or two with the Action 3. The quality is really amazing and it’s like having a DSLR under the water with me.
