Best Security Wireless Camera to purchase – As a Tech Guy that has his hands In all sorts of equipment, I can highly recommend the Dzees camera to the point of its a must buy. The camera is easy to set up. The cloud storage works great and is reasonably priced. The camera was easy to mount and is currently holding the charge well after about two weeks. The battery life remains well over 95% in two weeks and I have used it daily to view recordings, which are in 2k view. The sensor to detect objects works great. I have it on medium as this captures all images and movements like people or cars and distinguish very well. The camera motion detection is very good. The detect distance is great because when it is set on medium it can detect objects at the front door, driveway, and across the street which is about 60 feet. The camera is placed in a diagonal corner section on outer edge of the house so pictures can be captured in various angles. This camera is worth purchasing multiple cameras because of its detection, picture quality, and pan tilt action. It works great in the weather elements as it rained for two days heavy and no issues noted with the camera. The wi-fi connection is good with no lag, it only works with the 2.4ghz signal. A solar panel add on with this camera would be a plus but right now the battery life is excellent. You can also set the notification to your phone so the notifications are a plus. The microphone and speaker option is great and works well. The volume is good, no problems noted. This camera definitely exceeded my expectations and I purchased multiple cameras for family members so they can experience all of these features for the price. I plan on using the micro SD card option once my trial cloud storage expires. The night color option is good too. I like the fact that it has a bright led light and the 2k image is good. Also the pan tilt feature is quiet. The zoom feature that gives the full screen view is excellent and you can hone in on the object with a much greater view perspective. I looked at several cameras but glad I choose the dzees brand for the features. I would definitely recommend you purchase this camera if you are in need of surveillance by video. This is a five star camera.

      – Excellent camera, hardware & app. It has a wide range of view and easily directed through the app. Clear picture with high resolution. I would like to get another one soon. I like that it comes with it own solar panel as well as a long cable to give flexibility to install the panel in the best sunny place. the micro USB end of the cable is protected to avoid water and snow leaking inside the camera. The only thing I noted that it is relatively heavier than other outdoor cameras but this could be due to the motor inside. I recommend it as a good outdoor security camera.

      –  I have used a few security cameras monitoring my property. Some of them are battery-powered while others are not. I found this battery powered camera achieves a highest performance score among all of them I have used.

Simple to set up – The 2k solar-powered security camera is easy to set up. I have had two other PTZ cameras and both were technically challenging to install, produced muddy-looking images and had to have their settings re-installed every time the power went out. Fortunately, the Dzees is solar powered, meaning it can be placed anywhere outside and never runs out of power. The clarity of the video and photos is quite good, both for daytime and night with the option of switching from black and white to color night videos. The motion detection works well but in medium mode it reacts to strong wind and snow. The pan and tilt allows you to manually scan a wide area and it has a microphone and a speaker for communicating with, for example, delivery people or for warning trespassers. The Dzees connects easily with WIFI and records to an SD card. The software also provides seven days of rolling free cloud storage. The frequent notifications to your phone can be annoying, but the issue is easily managed in the menu. I have found the Dzees solar camera to be simple to install and the reliability is rock solid. Highly recommended.

Pros and cons – Daytime image is great and nighttime isn’t bad either if you use the constant white light feature for color but that will drain battery faster and make camera noticeable . But the Infrared in black and white is iffy because it has a hard time deciphering between what should be dark and light. For example my cat is dark grey and white and it has no problem keeping him his same colors but when I come through in black pants and a dark grey hoodie it shows me in a white hoodie and white pants. It also makes my face look alienated and albino which makes it hard to know what someone really looks like. Motion detection is pretty good but sometimes doesn’t pick up anything further then 10ft away. You can not continuously record and it only goes up to 20seconds. Even if you choose for it to not cool down you still lose footage in between each 20 second video and every time is different. I can be moving around in front of camera for a long period of time and might lose 4seconds after 1 clip 12 seconds after the next clip 8 seconds after the next etc etc. Or say I’m sitting in front of it only slightly moving after a couple clips it will stop recording me all together as well as my cat who sits there only moving his head. It takes us making a big movement to start recording again. So that is super annoying because say someone sets it off but they don’t actually commit a crime until the end of 20seconds I won’t be able to see it and same if they stay in the frame but barely move so that’s a huge flaw in the AI . Notifications come through pretty fast but when you open it up to view live it also stops recording and you have to hit record on the live video which again is causing time to be lost. But on the live you can record for as long as you have a good connection. Two way audio is ok but sometimes need to wait a few seconds after holding button to start talking or else they won’t hear you at first and can even be a little choppy at times. But outside audio on the videos and live is pretty good especially if they are closer to the camera. Furthest I’ve had mine is about 40ft from my Wi-Fi router through a wall and down a staircase and signal was strong but right now it’s 10ft away and signal is medium but I’m not to concerned because it hasn’t hit weak or lost connection at all. I haven’t mounted it yet because I’m still deciding if I want to keep it because of the losing time between each 20 second clip but when I did put it in the window for the day and had sun beaming on the solar panel it didn’t even charge and I lost alot of battery power so that’s concerning but if that changes I’ll update review. I also do not see the battery lasting a month let alone 3-5 months with 30triggers a day like they say so I really hope with more sun the panel will hold charge. It comes with free 7 days of cloud storage up to 0.5gb and a 30day free trial(no card info required) of 30day cloud up to 5gb and intelligent notification and activity zone. To keep the ai and activity zone you can do as low as $2.99 a month with 15 day cloud up to 3gb. I’m only on day 5 would be 6 but I switched from Dzees app to VicoHome app which ended up being the same exact app and the 1st day is still on Dzees. Not sure if that means after 30day I lose the notifications all together or just the difference between human/pet/package which 7/10 isn’t correct anyway. It says up to 128gb sd card but I’m using a 256gb which was able to be formatted right in the camera but I’m not seeing a difference yet since cloud and sd currently have the same recordings. The manual pan tilt while watching live works great all angles are viewable. Only issue is at night time using infrared or white light if I stop to where one of the antennas is within the frame it will only focus on that and not show me anything behind it. If you didn’t want to mount it and just keep it sitting somewhere it’s able to sit on the base and you can flip the image around in advanced settings. Videos/screenshots are very easy to share and download. If taken during live mode they can go straight into phone storage. Alarm and light can be set to go off with motion or manually turned on in settings or live mode. In live mode you can zoom in which is a plus but it does get pixelated. Overall so far it’s a decent camera and was very easy to connect camera to my Wi-Fi. Just wish it didn’t lose time between each clip when motion is still going on.
