Work Very Well – I have three of these with a fourth on the way. I live in an extremely high traffic tourist area. Within the first ten days a single camera has detected over 20k events. Out of that I’ve had zero false alerts which is frankly, amazing. I do have all my cameras hooked to direct power because the battery only last three days due to all the action where I live. I do wish the frame rate was higher and there is ghosting at night if you use the camera light with no other light source.

Compact camera for better home security – This eufyCam 3C has a more compact size than the SoloCam S40, the older generation cam I have. Without the solar panel for charging continuously, now you need to rely on the energy optimization of the cam. It is claimed to work 180 days with a single charge. It sounds pretty wild but you have to tune the settings a bit. I guess it should be ok to run 2-3 months with a single charge in usual cases though. The AI system inside definitely stands it out the competitors. Just a great step forward for a more intelligent monitor system around the home.

Works as advertised – Received the products very quickly and in perfect condition. We had gotten a 1TB hard drive for the hub and it was able to be easily installed without issue. Once the hub was setup, syncing the four cameras took less than four minutes per camera. We now have slightly over 1 TB to LOCALLY store our videos. There is no monthly fee, or privacy concerns. The video can also be downloaded off the hub onto a USB drive for archiving if needed.
