Works as described. Disappointed in manual – The camera works as described. Seems to be good for the price point. This camera was packaged for the Asian market. The manual is completely in Chinese & Japanese with no English. I am being told by the reseller that I can access English instructions online. I would have preferred a hard copy.

Great durable camera – if you drop it a few million times it still works. it is great for our work environment, we load a lot of semi-trucks here and it has been dropped and still works flawlessly! it takes a lot of abuse from the guys that use it but still keeps ticking just fine! battery life is very good on these cameras, so if you are looking for a long-lasting camera that can take abuse, and that still keeps going – This is the perfect camera and the water resistance is very nice it helps when there is rain we don’t have to worry about it getting soaked and not working .

misleading advertisement: this is a used camera, not a new one…. – I already have one of these but wanted a second one for work. I am not complaining about the quality because it is good enough for what I use it for. I am miffed because the listing misleads one to think that it is a brand new camera, not a used one.

Was hoping for better, but it’s really good… – First, i have to say…i can’t be too hard on the product due to the price. I knew that for the price it wasn’t going to blow me away, my Note 8 produces much higher quality images.

Amazing intro camera for beginners, great waterproof camera for everyone! – I bought this camera for a trip to Maine, and wore it on a padded lanyard the whole time – everywhere. It’s lightweight enough that I didn’t really notice it, and turns on fast enough that with it so handy, I was able to get pictures of birds that had landed nearby before they noticed us and took off again. Bonus points for the separate video and still photo recording buttons too! Great for quickly catching videos of things without needing to go into settings! I’m very much a novice photographer – this is my first camera that doesn’t also make phone calls – but even I was able to take some great photos with this camera. Once I played with some of the settings I was able to use burst mode to catch a perfect crashing wave, flower mode to make a couple shaded wild violets look like a fairy garden, and zoom way in on a sailboat, which kept great detail with the optical zoom! It got splashed a few times with no trouble at all. I didn’t fall in the water so no submersion report thankfully, but I’m sure it’d do fine, the seal on the charging hatch looks pretty rugged. Only “downside” is that many of the settings are in professional camera jargon, so I had to keep looking up what they meant for poor photography novices like me. Bottom line: I’m impressed, and I love it.

You Can’t See The Screen When Wearing Polarized Sunglasses. – Not a fun learning curve, but doable. And it takes 188 pages to print out the manual. A friend had one on a raft trip down the Grand Canyon. My camera died from sand. Figured a waterproof camera would keep out fine sand too next trip. But once it arrived and I learned the basics I took it out hiking and the screen didn’t work. I’d turn it on and nothing. Just a black screen. Tried turning it on and off again. Tried taking the battery out and restarting it. Nothing. When I got home and tried to figure out what is “wrong” with it – it worked fine. Figured out the difference was I wasn’t wearing polarized glasses indoors like I had been hiking. Turns out I did have pictures after all – the kind you get when you’re trying to figure things out. So got the polarized sunglasses and sure enough – you can not see a thing when wearing them. But camera works fine without them. Go figure?

Its tough – Had it the Grand Canyon and was wet for 7 days and photos were great even with muddy water on lens
