Great for retro-look photos – Update : Purchased June 2022. It’s now December 2022 and I have been unable to charge the battery. I’ve used numerous different cables of the correct type in case the connection within the camera isn’t working. Fuji says I should contact the seller, so that’s what I’ve done today. Let’s see what happens.

A splendid portable instax printer that looks like a camera – What is this thing. Hard to define as a camera but technically speaking it is. You get a body that can print images from your phone and from the tiny camera this unit houses. What’s differentiates this Instax Evo from other Instax cameras is the fact that the images are not directly exposed onto it’s film through the lens. There is a small sensor behind the lens that captures the image. Once processed, a small LCD screen will expose the image onto the instax film as it is transported out of the printer. This allows the user to benefit from all those 10 effect filters and lens effects that are entirely software generated. So yes, this is actually a printer that can capture images. Less so a traditional Instax camera.

Easy, Fun, Memories – Super easy to use, and I can print photos from iPhone! As a photographer this is a great little camera to take with me whenever I’m hanging with friends. Sharing memories in small little pictures.

Everything polaroid, with cheaper film and less worry thanks to being digital – The camera does instant film photography so well! First of all, I love that there is built in a small amount of internal storage. I’m not going to store anything extra, because I want to keep the temporary Polaroid feel. There’s also some great filters built in (sepia, monochrome, etc.) and the Instax film is so much cheaper than Polaroid’s while maintaining great quality.

The Best of Both Worlds! Old School meets New School – I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this bad boy for a while. With the variety of different instant cameras out now, its been tough figuring out which one I wanted. When I saw that this was being released, I had to be patient. And the wait was worth it.

My favorite camera thus far. – I have 4 instant film cameras now, one Polaroid & 3 different models of Fuji. This camera is by far my absolute favorite. Someone mentioned the body of this cam is plastic & doesn’t feel like great quality, I agree but I also anticipated that as all instant film cameras are plastic unless you get the real deal vintage ones.. The photos come out sharper than my other cameras of which I personally much prefer. The macro is better than I anticipated, I love that you can control the settings like flash, zoom, auto focus on faces, add filters & obviously being able to choose which photos to print vs wasting film! Being able to bluetooth the photos from my phone & print them off of the camera is amazing!! The only thing I’ll nitpick thus far is the charging port. The plastic flap covering the the charger and sd card slot feels too fragile for something that’ll need consistent use. I’m also not a fan of the charger this camera requires as this kind always gets wobbly and eventually stops charging on me.
