Easy setup – Easy to setup and have working in a matter of minutes. I like the feature of being able to watch the video and link to the camera without the need of a wifi. The camera has it’s own wifi (no internet) and the phone can connect directly to the camera or local wifi for push notifications. It has a wide angle view to see more of the room and can shift the video left, right, up down and night vision. My father is elderly in a home and has said that someone is stealing money from his room. Can’t see the camera and does not have any kind of “Camera On” light which is good. Bought one to try out but now I’m going to buy a second one. Also great warranty, 30 money back and 18 month replacement.

better than epected motion detection and image quality! – I got this to feel safe in a new home living with roomates, I wanted o be sure nobody was sneaking into my room when I as gone, being a single female its important to feel safe living with strangers- this was easy to set up and was surprised how well the image quality was in light and dark, and it has many features- there is different settings for the motion detection, the highest one being so strong it will send me alerts and screenshots to my phone when light from the sun moves across the room! impressive! i love being able to look into my room from the app away on trips too- this brought me much peace of mind!

Replacement Unit (Works)!? – The original unit I received was apparently defective, in that there was persistent audio Interference/ LOUD noise that can only be described as what sounded like the Decepticon alien robots (from The Transformers movies) arguing incoherently… This was particularly annoying and of course unacceptable for a brand new purchase to be malfunctioning out-of-the-box. HOWEVER, unlike Amazon customer service the seller themself was very accommodating & provided a Free, Returnless & Expidited Replacement!? The audio issue is not present on the replacement unit and thus far seems to be working as advertised. Quite satisfied with the product. Although, my only other gripe is that the video apparently defaults to SD rather than HD or FHD whenever I view the live picture feed. Unclear if the recorded video also defaults to standard definition.
