Very pleased – Very fast motion detection. Very good trucking. Easy to install. The only thing is that i didn’t manage to find how to see the whole video recorded continously through the day. You can see only a small video with the capture of the movement.

Beware do not buy – Been using these cameras about 6 months I think. Good sort, this one is my favorite as it has an sd card and I can download the videos. That is until a recent update. Now to pull videos from my sd card to my phone I need to pay a monthly service fee. I used to be able to do this for free. But now I need to pay monthly to lock my own files and download them from my own hardware. Nope, stay away from these guys. They used to make a fairly good product but not any more.

Don’t depend on tracking – I wrote a review on this, but I thought i needed to add this part because it’s extremely important. When on tracking mode and the camera picks up on a group setting, for instance, you and your family sitting at a table, if your dog walks by it will move away from you and follow the dog. If a burglar is in the middle of standing still going through your drawer and your pet walks by, it will follow the dog out of the frame you need as evidence. If your dog, let’s say, lays down, the camera will then reset to its original position you left it in. I can just see it picking up my kids sneaking around , at night, while my dog follows and the camera decides following the dog is more important than following the kids. Just something to keep in mind when buying this camera.

Yes recommended – It is wonderful not that I live in a dangerous area. But it allows me to check on the animals when at work. Picture is great considering the price.

Very good coverage, low latency and wide coverage – This IMOU camera has very good coverage with pan-tilt control in the smartphone. I cannot hear any noise when doing the pan-tilt movement. One surprise is that this camera has one privacy cover that can be controlled via smartphone. Another advantage is the super low video latency (almost less than 1/4 second). The sound latency is normal around 1s.
