Great item! – Was able to install camera onto wall of my daughters room, up high and out of reach. Night vision is surprisingly clear and cuts on automatically, sound is clear, however the audio when speaking can come out distorted (just speak slowly, but I think it’s due our connection/area). The setup on your phone is pretty simple, as well as setting it up on other devices if you want to share it. The motion detection is pretty sensitive, but you can always turn the notifications off/limit them. Great purchase overall though!

ℝ !! – Boom, cought a rat breaking in and going through my stuff! Called the cops and now with this evidence, she is fired!!! Can’t beleive they give you a 7 day FREE trial, no credit card info needed. If I didn’t have this, nobody would of beleived me. Thanks and buy this if you want to have extra eyes when you are away, If you decide to subcribe, plans are really cheap.

Decent camera, but not the greatest quality – We use this baby monitor currently, but it is not my favorite.

Im glad I only got one – Picture is crystal clear, I wanted this so I can keep an eye on my inlaw with dementia when she is sleeping. I noticed it would trigger human response with her tv on. So i moved camera so it would not be in view of TV. So anyways it says human movement detected but 100% nothing moving. The only way to watch play back is to sign up for a subscription. The cost is monthly or yearly not a lot of money. But not sure that its worth to watch playback when it is recording nothing. It does detect actual movement. Not sure its worth the subscription.

works pretty well for kids out of bed. mostly. – for the price, this was a great deal. we had no idea how often our son was creeping downstairs to snack and play electronics until this. also, pan and tilt controls are good so i can rotate around to check the kids’ tv instead of the stairs, if i like. setting up the app, schedule, and notifications was pretty painless. my one gripe is from this morning: it triggered motion (which begins recording video for a time) on my son coming downstairs in the dark but because of his oversized hoodie he wasn’t flagged as human (which would notify me). worse, when he went back upstairs it didn’t trigger motion (so no video saved on the sd card) at all. that was on motion detection sensitivity 4 of 5. when sensitivity is max it will flag our two cats as human all night, plus i get a ton of motion detection from one really, really persistent fruit fly. i’m not currently paying for a monthly subscription but supposedly it comes with AI detection so i’m tempted. haven’t tried it yet with echo show. i was recently considering purchasing a second camera just for the noise detection (baby monitor), but i’m going to hold off for now after it let in the cookie monster.
