Great camera, easy hook up, plug and play – I have a 5 camera Lorex system set up to watch my commercial property. This system is 95% reliable detecting motion. It seems that when there’s no motion for an extended period of time the camera goes into kind of a sleep mode and it takes a few motion detections to wake it back up. Wouldn’t you know that the one time I had I am some vandalism on the property the cameras were in their sleep mode and I was never able to get an image of the perpetrator. Oh well, for the price of the system it’s still worth it but my home security with adt is more reliable. But it’s also more expensive

Initial disappointment, but read on… – So let me preface this review by saying we are using this with a Swann 4k DVR. We wanted a camera that could do sound and color night vision for our front door. We bought 2 of these initially, but when we hooked one up, it looked horrible compared to our Swann 4k camera, but since we were replacing an even lower quality camera, and this was at a good price point, with audio and color night vision we kept one, and sent the other back. It took us a minute to install it, but when we did, we figured out that there were multiple input settings, and we found one that was much more clear than when we first tested the camera. Pretty comparable to our 4k Swann Cameras. Unfortunately, we didn’t read the fine print, and found out the audio doesn’t work with a non Lorex system, but the fact that this had 105° viewing angle vs our Swann’s 90° and color night vision, and the clarity was great, with the right setting, we decided to keep it, and buy another…again So far, I’m very pleased with my purchase, just wish I could use the audio. That’s my only complaint.

Works great for our front door camera paired with Annke DVR DT81DP. Now I can see the color of their eyes at night! You just have to find all the settings and understand the technology. Most complaints I read are from lack of knowledge on the hardware and settings and the unwillingness to figure it out. I couldn’t be happier with this camera.
