Great camera! – I really like this camera, great photos, easy to use and the zoom is incredible. It is definitely worth the price. A wider neck strap will be more comfortable for those times you wear the camera around your neck.

Doesn’t work. Says “Lens obstruction. Re-start camera.” – It doesn’t work. Sitting in my house, I took 2 pictures and then it said “Lens obstruction. Re-start camera.” I restarted camera and the same. Repeated many times. I changed battery. Same. I read manual. nothing there. Looked for help. Nother there. I sent Minolta an email message where instructed. No response yet. Need help. It seems like it is broken, and needs replaced. Never dropped it and package looked fine when I received it. If I don’t hear I will send it back for one that functions. If I don’t hear from anyone from company or Amazon I will ask for $ back and buy a different camera.

Fantastic camera! Zoom and pixels provide incredibly sharp pictures. Lightweight! – The package comes with all of the parts described. I was very happy to get the extra memory card. It does not come with an external charger so I had to purchase that separately. It does come with a cord to attach to the camera but that is not always convenient for my uses.

Not sure if this is new and I purchased NEW – I got this days ago, and also bought the suggested charger and extra batteries, since you can’t pop in a new set of AA’s. Battery charged when charger came in. Went to use it tonight and met with the attached photo of screen; sorry, I cannot read that junk! Tried both options and neither top nor bottom option did anything. Seems like someone else set this up before me???? This was also supposed to have a tiny little tripod, and although it looks tiny plus I bought a large one, it very well may have come in handy at some time in the future. It will certainly go back if I cannot reset it and get it set to English and need to see about the small tripod. Finally, the camera “case” is a joke! Thankfully I still have my old case and the camera will fit in it, thus it would have protection.

Best camera I have ever owned – I like everything about this camera. I had a similar one from a few years back but not the same brand. Yes this camera may have been built in the same factory as the other one, but with inferior angering. I hated the other one because every time I used it I had to change the batteries. The battery on this one is still going strong 3 months in, and I purchased 2 backup batteries with a charger for about $25.00. So fare I have not had to use them. This camera feels well made, with plenty of auto and manual feetures resulting in great pictures.

So much better and cheaper than last camera – Had a very expensive camera that I dropped and broke. Decided not to spend so much money and got this camera and I couldn’t be happier. Very easy to use and my 2 favorite features are how much zoom it has. My last camera I had to change lenses all the time. I also love what they call the vari-angle LCD. Great when you want to take a macro shot of a flower down low. I’ve only had the camera for about 2 weeks and will certainly write another review if the love affair ends.

Dishonest – We bought this camera for our vacation. It came with a memory card and 2 extra batteries. I could have bought this camera cheaper from another business but this had all the extras with it. We got the camera which came as they said, we left for vacation 2 days later. We found out the memory card was not the correct one and the camera would not work. So in a very small MN town we went to 5 stores looking for a memory card. Finally found one at the 5th store. Took over an hour to locate a memory card. Also 2 extra batteries are the wrong size and do not work. I called and wanted them to send the correct card/battery and I would return the wrong ones. They said my only option was to return the entire camera. Whats with this? This is wrong and dishonest. They should be able to send me the correct accessories that go with the camera I paid a lot including shipping and tax. Almost 500.00. I would not buy this again from them, I would go to a camera store in my own state. The camera is a very nice one, I like it a lot. I will keep it, I do not want to waste more valuable time at 70 yrs. old looking for a camera, already have wasted several days of my life over a camera, making calls, driving around looking for memory card on vacation and battery’s that are difficult to find and taking to people who don’t care. Shame on all of you!!!
