Good Camera, but Check Your Signal Strength and Go With the EIOT SIM Card. – When the camera is able to connect to the network, it works well… but if it’s unable to connect, troubleshooting it can be a nightmare.

This is gonna be a long one….. but it’s a good camera. – Okay so this is my preliminary review of the Reolink Go PT and some of the things I’ve encountered with the regular Reolink Go. Hopefully this helps someone.
J. K (verified owner)–
– Great camera, but does not charge batteries from solar panel under -10 degrees Celsius, by design – to protect batteries (!) Therefore, cannot be used in extreme cold, it simply does not work – just drains the batteries. When brought indoors and warms up, it works normally (charges – from solar panel or USB cable). Definitely not suitable for Canadian winter.

– Camera set up was ok using Bell SIM card. Night vision works but could be better. Two way audio is very limited with serious lack of speaker power. The siren alarm is so weak that it would not scare anything away. The most disappointing factor is its connection capabilities which barely works 50% of the time. This product is much too costly for its performance.

Peace of mind, but needs work – Bought two of these to keep an eye on our under construction house. Didn’t realize they needed an additional SIM card for activation, so searched YouTube for the best solution and settled on EIOT prepaid annual cards for about $100 each. Highly recommend that! Plug and play!
