good but.. – bought a 4 cam set product , 2 stop working after 6 months ….. the 50 % remaining works great.

Good camera for use with Zoneminder – Solid camera, it has plenty of light from the night LEDs that have a photocell that controls them to light up the scene I posted. Picture quality is very good, true 4k with high frame rates if you want to do that. It’s possible to turn off the IR leds from the camera. Works with the latest firmware from Reolink however you must go into advanced network settings in the camera and turn on the port access that you are using. Audio is also available from a phone jack on the camera and the cam will work on non-poe port with 12v power. Does not require excessive PoE power. One thing I really liked a lot is that while the camera body is plastic the mounting plate the camera goes on is cast aluminum. Did not try messing with the motion detection and pet exclusion settings in the latest firmware.

Not what you will expect – At first glance, Reolink appeared to have a great solution with superior features and great quality gear. That’s where it stopped.

Great addition to existing Reolink NVR system – I’m relatively new the the security cam market, but bought a Reolink NVR package and these 2 cameras for a total of 6. For the cost, these work pretty well. Daytime picture is fantastic. Night time is good, but not perfect. They notice movement easily, but rarely recognize a person at night, as it looks more like a ghost moving in low light conditions. We needed these for security and they do what I need them to do, and provide 24/7 recording like I wanted. With the REOLINK NVR, one 4K camera will use up about 1TB of storage every 2 weeks. I have 6 cameras with a 6TB hard drive that starts covering old recordings after about 2 weeks.

Sturdy system, but like most systems, cameras are not moveable – I got this set at other people’s recommendations, and it took 2 men most of the day to install it, but that’s expected so, nothing to say there. I just wish that the camera is moveable, so I can see more than what’s captured on the camera in that 1 constant view. Otherwise, it’s a standard system that’s comparable to others that are out there.

terrible motion capture – This camera seemed great at first, if it has good lighting and no motion it produces very clear images. And setup was reasonably easy. But then I walked by the camera in the dark, and the results would be great for a movie about a haunted house. While the background remained fairly sharp even in the dark, the image of me moving was a semi-transparent blur. You couldn’t even be sure there was a human, much less who it was or what gender. After some reading, I have learned that this brand handles low light conditions by greatly dropping it’s shutter speed, resulting in very blurry images of anything that moves. The higher resolution actually makes it worse(I also got a 5mp version of this which is not quite as bad) because each pixel is smaller so it gets less light and needs a longer exposure to get enough.

REOLINK is awesome. – I’ve installed REOLINK cameras in homes, storefronts, and industrial settings. The cameras are good quality and installation is so simple. One of the best features is the app. It just flows so nicely and easy to use.
