These cams are nice – These were a nice replacement for the older security cams we had up in the store. The recommendation came from my brother who does camera installations. When we got them and did the installation the video quality was a lot better. At the same time we were upgrading our network in the shop as well. So getting the POE router was already on the list.

Edit: Read the fine print. – Edit: Original review left for people who didn’t read far enough like me. The camera works very well and the POE works as it’s intended to. I saw 12v power and assumed this was a 12v POE like my old camera. It is not. You will need a 48v injector or a 48v PEO router. If I had read down far enough to I’d have saved a lot of headache and not have to eat my words. Don’t be like me, read the description all the way and save the headaches.

The Best System Out There – This is my first system. I tried a different one to start and you had to set up each camera individually… The software was so bad I couldn’t even log in to do it. Sent it back and got this one. The NVR auto detects the camera’s and you can have wired and wireless on the same system. Once the wires where ran it took minutes and I was up and running. I did upgrade the cables as someone suggested. I give this system a 10 for ease of setup and software. Buy this one first! you won’t be disappointed.

Great cameras, not PTZ on this model – When I bought this camera I didn’t realize it was not a PTZ camera. It’s not but that is my fault. It is a good camera with good image and sound quality, and seems to have decent software and firmware. The cameras have a web interface that’s accessible via any common web browser on your LAN, and the Reolink app (I only have android devices but the IoS app is probably good too) is pretty OK. The app has several ways to access the device, and once added you can easily view the camera feed(s) from outside the walls of your home and LAN.
