Love the camera, but not very durable. – Love the camera for what it does, but we are on our 3rd one in 4yrs. Here’s another Amazon product I like https://smile.amazon.com/Strategic-Planning-Investing-Individuals-Diversification/dp/0978819004

360 camera perfect for vacations!! – Ricoh? Who is that? Well, they produced the excellent 360 digital camera that I recently purchased. They also made the processor used in the original Nintendo (among other things).

Base Camera Firmware Needs to Updated Upon Opening for iPhones – It does not take stunning HD photos like some of the more expensive options, but it works great for it’s value. We use it at our construction sites for documentation in each room/area and it has been super useful. Be very careful with the lenses though as they stick out proud of the camera frame and can be the first thing to touch other surfaces if not handled carefully.

Only OK – I saved a few bucks with an open-box Theta. I have started to use this as a tool for real estate photography. Image quality is 50 years behind the times. Lots of CA and poor image sharpness. Maybe the $1000 version would be a leap in the right direction, but considering this technology is in its infancy I’m not ready to drop $1000 on a camera that could well be obsolete in 2 years or less.

  5. P. K (verified owner)

Good all around for the price – The Theta SC works very well for real estate tours. Has a little problem with bright windows, but overall, I’m pleased with the results it gives.

  6. S. I (verified owner)

Great camera for real estate. – I use this camera for listing rentals on Zillow etc It works great for uploading to their website. The app is easy to navigate and the photos make the places look awesome. Really gets those 360 shots and panoramas that your cellphone won’t get. Seems pretty durable. The price? It’s a little high but it’s money well spent if you get your place looking great and it rents fast right? Don’t forget to purchase a tripod at the same time. Pretty hard to use without one.

Works beyond my expectation – While there’s more expensive models from the same manufacturer, this product worked very well for my 3D house tour projects. It was fairly simple to connect to my iPhone, my first 3d tour session was finished in just 15 minutes. Before you hit the site, I recommend you study the manual and connect the unit to your phone in advance so you can start shooting 3D panoramas there immediately. Great panoramas. I recommend this product.

Great hardware, so-so software – Hardware is great and the software’s ability to stitch the photos is great. But the phone software is difficult to connect to camera and UX is clunky and confusing.
