great outdoor camera! – Overall, the picture quality is great, in both daytime and nighttime vision. It allows for motion detection recording and notification as well as you can speak through the camera & it has a light flash as an alert option that you can shine if are watching the camera. It is also completely wireless when hung outside, no cables needed. HOWEVER, if you plan to have motion detection on 24/7, THIS CAMERA WILL DIE IN 3-4 DAYS & IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOU. I had it on 24/7 when I first got the camera and the battery life went down to almost 21% within not even a week because it kept detecting people walking on the side walk or in front of my stairs and it completely drained the battery. Now, I know that was my fault for bad positioning but even when I moved it to just see the door, it still died to almost 46% within a week. So unless you plan to have it wired up to the charger 24/7 (which makes it not completely wireless anymore) to allow for constant motion detection, this camera won’t be for you. (Unless you’re okay with taking it down every week to charge it, it takes about 8-10 hours for full charge). That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the battery life sucks. If you do NOT have the motion detection on 24/7 and only want it on when you leave the house or something of that matter however, the battery life lasts months. Also, just remember positioning of the camera too and try to set it only very specifically to where you want the motion to be detected to avoid it catching random unnecessary things!

After two of the doorbell kind not lasting and not giving me exactly what I wanted I decided to go with a more home security type camera. I already have a doorbell so I don’t need that function. I just want to be able to A) See my front porch area whenever I want. B) Be able to communicate with anyone ringing my doorbell or on my porch. C) Be able to record videos and take pictures and save those. This camera does all 3.

Great For Indoors – Although this is meant to be used for the outdoors, I have it inside my house. I was in need of a wireless camera because I didn’t want the cord hanging down when installed close to the ceiling. This is PERFECT! Just do the initial charge and the battery will last for quite some time. I’ve only had it a few weeks, but it still has more than 75% battery life. Granted, I don’t have this recording everything that comes in contact with the camera, so if you do, the battery may not last as long. The picture quality is amazing and I like that I have the option of only recording people who enter my home. That way, my animals don’t trigger the motion sensor and waste the battery life and/or SD storage. Overall great camera at an amazing price! Just buy it already!

Awesome – I bought this for my chicken coop which is 35 ft from the house. So I didn’t expect it to work and it is super glitchy but understandably so, but gives me enough to do it’s purpose. So under the circumstances I could only imagine how well it work closer to the wifi beings it work way better then expected for the distance. I love that you can turn the motion detector off though cause I’m my cause chickens always setting it off. Highly recommend.

Great solar camera option – The solar panel works well. The app is a bit clunky and sometimes takes awhile to load recordings and live views. The motion sensor will detect everything. Even shadows. So they will upsell you on a paid upgrade to limit motion sensing to an indicated area only. The camera doesn’t like glass, so it’s only good inside or outside, but not inside looking out if that makes sense.
