BEST Totally wireless solar camera I’ve found yet! – Only had the camera installed for a couple days now, but so far so good. I like just about everything about it, except for a few slight flaws/defects or whatever they may be. Hence the reason I only gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5. Resolution is excellent and easy set up application. – The solemn S 600 is a well built device. The camera face is made of a high impact plastic but the top of the camera is all metal. It is strong durable and mounts easily with four screws and comes complete with a template. I recommend anyone who has a elderly parent who does not like to have a security camera hooked up to his electrical bill to purchase this product. The solar panel that sits on top of the camera itself is very durable thick and heavy until mounted on top of the camera well then it becomes well balanced. The product alone is a beautiful piece of equipment the set up is also rather easy you just have to download this solemn website and get the app on your phone the complete instructions comes with nice instruction book which is rare in today’s world it is enclosed in the packaging. The camera is self-contained with six 1850 rechargeable batteries needed although it comes with three you can purchase a flashlight on Amazon that contains six 1850 rechargeable batteries and then install them in the camera solar panel at the bottom there’s four screws on each corner you undo them open it insert three more 1850s which is a difficult battery to fine so I recommend purchase purchasing the flashlight. The camera isn’t something that you’re going to get in the mail and open it up if you live in the cabin in the woods and have no electricity no Wi-Fi not anything you could actually use it there you would just have to get a little or big hotspot portable Wi-Fi from your local Verizon store and hook it up to a planSo that’s where money is involved but once it’s hooked up to the Wi-Fi it connects very easily the camera talks the resolution at night is like black and white but it’s clear it’s not hard to see it’s very crystal clear in black-and-white and during the day I’m hoping my pictures download it to show you that it looks like a picture itself it’s a magnificent camera. Our first time at turning it on we actually recorded about 450 feet of you as far as the eye could see we could see a motorcycle actually wrecked on the road and slid down the road in front of my dad’s house and we had captured that all on camera and it was almost crystal clear it’s high resolution and very clear very clear it’s not like you can’t see things it’s it’s there so much that at night time we can see his cats on the banister which will set off the notifications and we could see Bugs flicking by the back door light it’s an amazing product thank you

You kind of have to figure it out yourself. Doesn’t tell you which screws to use or what the other pieces in the bags go. The instruction manual is poorly translated but you can figure it out based on context of the topic and the somewhat from the broken English. Does not explain how to install solar panel independently. Had to tighten it to the camera unit. Night vision is not color. The pros: panning is great. Speed is adjustable. Panning is almost silent. Flood light is bright. Color of unit is not too intrusive and you can install it just about anywhere and it’s hardly noticeable. So far the battery seems to last a long time (if you aren’t wiring it to an outlet). The solar panel seems good so far and keeps the charge topped off. When I installed the camera it was very windy. Afterwards the solar panel seemed very sturdy and does not move. As for the app, it’s full features and robust. Lots of settings and little things you can tweek and change. App is very responsive and minimal delays with moving the camera. So all in all not perfect but near. Change this 3 cons and it would be perfect for everyone. Would recommend for anyone wanting more than the ring cameras stationary veiwpoint. And if you want more features than the popular door cams available. 4.5 stars!
