Sturdy tripod and reasonably durable for the price. – Sturdy tripod for the price. I like the additional quick release plate and cellphone attachment. I also like that it has a carry handle, though I don’t think it was meant for heavy use. Best carried in the bag it came with or slung on a camera bag. I think it’s a much better tripod than Amazon’s basics lightweight tripod that I’ve been using. This tripod has more weight to it but it’s not heavy at all. Held up well during my trip to Arizona photographing nature, landscapes and night sky.

Good to take pictures off of – The silly crank up section to get a big higher is crapy as long as you don’t try and use that it works good. Bag for storage is made of crunchy sounding nylon so don’t carry it with you if you are trying to be quite. It is worth the money for sure happy with the purchase. 4 stars because they made the flimsy crank up section to get 10 inches closer to the moon and the noisy bag.
