Good PTZ and night vision. Very limited streaming and control capabilities. – If all you want is to be able to access the camera from the app on your phone, this is a great camera. I love the PTZ capability (actually, only PT – no zoom). The night vision is see images for a comparison of daytime, night vision with the driveway floodlight on, and driveway with the driveway floodlight off. The resolution of night vision images is quite low. The solar panel and battery keep the camera powered at all times (though I suppose that excessive use of PTZ my deplete the battery).

What a pro thinks of the TWUFY ZS-GX6S – As a retired CCTV and Security consultant/contractor with 20 years experience in the industry,I would like to offer my opinion of the TWUFY PTZ solar powered WiFi camera. I have recently begun replacing and supplementing some older hardwired cameras in my system with WiFi cameras and since my doorbell camera was using the Cloudedge App for viewing and control, I tried to stay with manufactures of cameras that use that app since I have had good luck with it. I was a little concerned at first because the TWUFY camera was so inexpensive but as it turns out it is a sturdy camera even though built using mainly plastic. There is no bending or give to the cameras chassis at all and seems to be very well built. The packaging it came in appears to be able to withstand even the worst type of delivery driver. As for the operation of the camera, it is one of the easier ones to program and set-up and has a unique type of mounting bracket that permits mounting on a wall or even under a ledge or eve. By using the included solar panel to keep the large 15000mAh battery charged you could feasibly run the camera year around without having to plug it into a wall charger, depending on what part of the country you live in and weather you have. I have the camera mounted at least 100 feet from the router and it seems to have an adequate WiFi signal even though our home is made using concrete block and stucco. By using a PIR (passive infrared) and AI (artificial intelligence) for motion detection I have yet to receive any false alarms over the past few days and the notifications appear to come in quickly after determining that the motion is caused by human activity. The picture quality from the 1080p HD camera is very good and may even be better than my older hardwired cameras, especially the video coming at night when using the IR night vision. I am only using a 64gb micro SD card in the camera but you can use one up to 128 gb (none included with purchase). If you wish you can also get cloud storage for your app at an additional cost but I’m happy with just the SD card storage. If needed the camera includes two-way audio so you can talk to someone near the camera and even tap an icon in the app and a siren will start sounding from the camera. This is not a high end camera, however, you cannot beat the price with this type of quality your getting. You could buy three of these for the price of a single big named WiFi camera and probably still get the same quality video, and after all, thats what its all about, the video.”

Need to mount it on the provided bracket – i.e. you cannot just set it on a flat surface as the camera’s night sensor gets blocked. Connected to my 2.4 ghz WiFi which you need to have for this camera. Motion detection has a setting from 1-10 and usually don’t have this on as there are a lot of false positives even with the alarm setting turning certain sections like blocking out moving bushes. I would like the detection to identify faster movement when it starting recording. At times a car driving up my driveway is not recorded until it is at the top. Again, for this price point it has good capability. The intercom seemed to have a smaller delay than other cameras I have.
