I didn’t cut out any of the foam and it held box of 9mm ammo, a clip and a sig P365 – Highly recommend this gun case. My first trip flying with this in my bag and the airport ran over our luggage destroying the bag and a few things inside. The vault was not even scratched!!!

Great case. So so foam – The case itself is really nice. It seems like it is very solid. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the foam it comes with. There are 3 layers on the bottom. The first (top) piece fits perfectly. The middle one is a little sloppy, but not a big deal because you can’t see it. But the bottom piece isn’t even cut to the shape of the case, and looks like they just tossed something in they had laying around. For the price I expected it to be nicer.

Perfect storage case for my pistol! – Perfect Case for my 9mm and accessories! Love the size, shape and color. Plenty of padding, and like any good case, you do need to cut a layer of foam to accommodate what you’re storing. I love it. Custom clean look while keeping everything safe and secure. Did also order a padlock for it – average bar length of 1.26 inches and it’s too short, so will need to get another. Other than that, perfect!

Solid Case – I like it. There is a seal in the rim. The latches are push/pull, and open easily. Case bottom has three layers of solid foam (pictured). Top layer is snug/cut to shape and flush on the face. Middle layer cut to shape, not snug. Bottom neither cut to shape nor snug. Case top, two layers (pictured). Top layer, cut to shape, snug, flush on the face. Bottom, neither cut to shape nor snug. I replaced the case bottom foam with custom foam from mycasebuilder (single layer, cut to curve) , and I now have the case I want (not pictured). Lock sites have metal eyelets. Hinges look ok, a metal rod through molded hinges that are part of the case. Also part of the mold, outserts/inserts along the edge of the frame, next to the lock eyelets. It’s 5-star, but the foam fitting could be improved. Strong price point. Nice transport case. I added custom foam from mycasebuilder,
