Great for Vlogging – This camera is good for subjects that are still, like a an interview, vlog, or webcam. It has zoom in and out but not auto focus. So it’s best if your subject matter stays within focus. Which is what I got it for. That said, it works great. It doesn’t come with a memory card, but I have plenty, so keep that in mind in case you don’t have memory cards in hand. It has a tripod and mic mount areas. The remote is perfect for using with the tripod. Once I get setup and in position, I just use the remote to start and stop recording without having to touch and disturb the camera placement. The menu is self explanatory and fun to just play around with. It has auto power on and off when it’s opened or closed. This does come with 2 batteries. The batteries charge via usb right in the camera. And if you run out of battery life while shooting, you can plug it into a phone charger/power bank and keep going. It can be used while charging. It’s extremely compact and lightweight and easy to transport or store.

I was attempting to video the Grand Teton Mountains and it was only recording in b & w then a few moments later it wouldn’t record, just kept asking me it I wanted to format the chip in the camera. Obviously not, I’d erase all the other picts I’d taken. I thought I’d gotten a bad camera and was quite upset. Later, I discovered, when the battery is low it starts doing these things. Be Aware, plug it in when not in use, keep your battery charged and this is a pretty good camera for the money.
