Great Security Camera – After purchasing my first one and seeing the quality of picture (whether daylight color or night I.R), I ended up buying 3 more to cover 75% of my 1/3 acre yard. The mini-SD card records continually 24/7 and is retrievable on the computer program app. However, the maximum SD card is limited to 128GB . Recording 24/7, the card runs out of space in about 20-hours of memory. Once it hits the max. it begins to record “over” the the prerecorded segments. For the outside installation, you will have to provide a 110 electrical source to power the camera. Personally, I placed the cameras on the exterior walls within reach of an interior electrical outlet and drilled a small enough hole to pass the cable “connection end” through, then weather sealed the small hole.

My critical review. – If you’re looking for a cheap security camera, then I’m sure you don’t care all too much about the Chinese government spying on your private activities. I know I don’t, so on with my brutally honest review.

These Security Camera’s are great! I definitely recommend them! – I bought one of these just to try it out because I was having problem’s with my two NightOwl Cameras connecting to Camera Monitor Program’s but with these all I did was Scan my Network and the Camera Monitor Program found them unlike with the NightOwl Cameras. I paid $80.00 a piece for the NightOwl Cameras and these are only around $22.00 with the $9.00 off Coupon so I figured I’d give them a try and I’m glad I did because they are really great they might be cheap but they are Mighty and they have just as good of a Picture as the NightOwls do if not better plus they have Micro SD Card support something you don’t normally see on a Security Camera this cheap and they even have Spotlight something the NightOwls don’t have. I ended up buying two of these to completely replace my two NightOwl Camera’s I highly recommend getting these they are cheap but just as good if not better than expensive Security Camera’s.

Good for the price – I like the camera. I’m still learning it’s features. It seems that occaisionally the features revert to a default setting (but that may just be me). The big GOT-CHA is that without realizing it in activating the camera Vimtag signed me up for a recurring charge for a cloud account. I have no desire to use the cloud for anything. As it turned out the easiest way out was to dispute the charges and cancel the card. They can’t charge it if it isn’t active. Trying to communicate with Vimtag is time consuming and in the end a waste of time. I’ll use this camera until it quits working then find a better alternative.

It is good – I got two of them and the image quality is pretty good and the sound as well. The only thing I didn’t see or find was the motion notifications and the mic is not that loud as I would like but still does the job really well.
