Not Quite Perfect – I bought this months ago, but just used it last week. The picture directions were not helpful in putting the pieces together as you can’t see the detail clearly. There was an address to a Youtube video, but when I entered the address it said it was no longer there. I searched through Youtube and found another which was very helpful. My biggest complaint is that the base plate which screws into the bottom of my camera, which is a Sony DSC RX-10, does not screw down so the plate is fixed in position. There is some room between the bottom of the plate and the camera bottom, so the base plate swivels around. Shown in picture 3. It is also too wide. It protrudes from the bottom of my camera no matter which way I turn it, which makes the articulating screen on the back of my camera useless, I cannot extend it out because the base plate interferes with it since it is too wide and one of its edges extends beyond the base of my camera. Shown in picture 1 and 2. The strap was very comfortable. I wore it for several hours and did not feel any discomfort at all. It is easy to bring the camera up to shooting height and then have it hand right at your side, sort of like a gunslinger to grasp easily to take a photo. I am using it, but am discouraged about the base plate and its screw not securing the base plate firmly to the bottom of my camera.

Good alternate strap – I didn’t really mind the original strap that came with my camera except that the camera sat in the middle of my chest pointing outwards. When I started looking at alternate straps I initially had a case of sticker shock until I found this one. Reviews seemed favorable so I ordered one. Setup was easy (there is a video of it online which helps to see how they suggest setting up the safety strap) and with a couple of adjustments, it is ready for testing. I like the way it sits on the side of my leg pointing down. The strap where it goes over your shoulder is very comfortable.
