A great budget-friendly purchase for additional home security! – As a renter one of my top priorities when looking for additional outdoor home security was easy installation with no wiring or damage to my rental property. This lightbulb camera couldn’t have been easier to install and get set up! I didn’t even need to use the instruction pamphlet, just followed the prompts on the app. I will note that I did the set up process indoors and then moved the camera to its outdoor location and I didn’t have to do any additional set up after moving the device, just plugged it in and adjusted the camera. If you’re having trouble scanning the QR code turn your phones brightness up all the way up, as soon as I did this it immediately scanned.

Basic Home Surveillance Camera – Sorry this took so long, but I needed to give these devices a few weeks shake down before I released my findings to the public. I recently purchased two wireless indoor/outdoor bulb cameras [one black and white in color], roughly under $25 each, (i.e., WOOLINK 3MP Wireless WiFi Light Bulb Security Camera 2.4GHz Smart Home Dome Security Cameras Night Vision Alarm Motion Detection Indoor/Outdoor), with two SanDisk 128GB X2 (256GB) MicroSD HC Ultra Uhs-1 Memory Cards at $25 for dual pack; for my upstairs small apartment surveillance and intrusion detection through Amazon Prime. I received the cameras in about 4 days. Out of the box the bulb camaras measure 3”x 6” with no external lights. Also to note this is a 3MP camera, so the picture is sufficed for viewing, but not when it comes to fine detail in zoom. Think about it, today’s cellphones are 16MP to 48MP+. The true focus of this camera is to alert me of unwonted intruders within my domain, not for glamour shots.
