You get what you pay for – It’s a cheap system, so you get a cheap system. Decent video quality. You can’t get the video or pictures that are recorded, off of the recorder. The software suggests that you can export the video or images, but you can’t. There is only one USB port, and it only recognizes a mouse. It doesn’t recognize thumb/flash drives. If you want to provide video or pictures to the police, you have to give them the unit, or the hard drive. The images are small, and you can’t magnify. The video play back is decent, but you also can’t magnify. You can zoom with the cameras, but it’s not a true zoom. The more you zoom the worse the image quality gets. I sent a support request to Zosi. It’s been 10 days without their support contacting me. Setup was not difficult. It was easier than I anticipated. The owners’ manual doesn’t cover much. There isn’t any how to instruction, for using the system. I can’t figure out what half of the stuff in the menu do.

Well worth the money. – To be frank, people being unhappy with this product are being ridiculous. You just paid for a 4 (can be 8) camera system that has either 24/7, scheduled, or motion detection recording and spent, what, $109 bucks. Not so long ago this system would’ve cost you thousands. I gave 4 stars because, yes, it’s not perfect. The motion detection isn’t very sensitive. Yes, the cameras are plastic, not aluminum. But if you have WiFi you can get the app and check your house at any time. The cameras ARE weatherproof but being that they are plastic it’s better to have them under a porch roof. Yes the system isn’t perfect, but for the cost, way worth what you spend. If you want perfection, you’re gonna pay for it regardless of what company you go with. All the mild issues with this system really aren’t worth paying hundreds of more dollars for. Everyone be safe out there.

Buy the spider cable – The set comes with one power supply for four cameras. You will need the spider cable with 8 connections. Otherwise its very easy to setup, has a decent picture and works just like it is advertised. Costs a fraction of what internet cameras cost. A DLINK 5020L sells for around $120. These cameras are $17 each on AMAZON. Both have night vision and digital zoom. The 5020 pans and tilts. Thats significant but if don’t need pan and tilt the price difference is incredible.

Buy These Cameras – From the packaging to the night vision, this kit is awesome! Everything comes well organized and individually wrapped inside a nice cardboard box like the kind you get with higher end new laptops. I installed the cameras on all 4 corners of my park model home using the included drill guides and some nuts and bolts I got from the hardware store. The included screws and anchors would have worked fine but we get some strong winds here in the south west. I wanted to go overkill and make sure the cameras didn’t come down if something got snagged on them.
